I just purchased a Mac Edition ATI Radeon 9800 (R350 processor series) with 256MB memory. I found it on ebay and this card is brand new. I spent a total of $73.00 for it. The price I paid was less then other ATI Radeon cards with 128MB memory, all selling as used. So I feel I found an exceptional deal. I was hoping for something dramatic from this card but I didn't really see that much of a difference with it. True I now can see photos full size on my 22" monitor which I could not before. And photos no longer have that chopped edge look to them nor do they have a white leading edge. And so Aperture works very well indeed as does my Canon software. I can now enjoy iLife 08. Except for iMovie which won't install because I do not have a 2.0GHz processor nor a G5. I did find a website which gives a hack for that so some other day perhaps I'll play with that. I experimented with viewing flash from espn.go.com on 3 web browsers, Camino, Safari, and TenFourFox. In all cases attempting to watch a sports broadcast gave such jerky results it would be difficult to watch or enjoy. TenFourFox presented the video's the best of the three. Going to youtube.com and watching various video's displayed just find in all three browsers. You couldn't tell any difference at all and they were all fully acceptable. I hope this helps out Kristen -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.9 (Darwin) iEYEARECAAYFAk7qOcIACgkQF1wXlvLxlNh8IwCcCgENFEzjdNo/5wRGKpEhZvF8 z1YAn34sLcGjoqUZFYlN0upueTWeyApZ =aol9 -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
