I think SSDs will be limited by your IDE bus (which will also drastically reduce your options; most SSDs are SATA), so the question is: how close are your standard hard drives to saturating the IDE bus? I don't know the answer to that, but I suspect it's not worth the price to put an SSD in a G4. -- Rich
