I do not know what an MOTU 2408 is :) You should run Tiger unless it's too heavy and bogs your system down. In which case reinstall Panther. But reinstalling Panther sounds like a lot of work for what you desire You may always access the OS by booting into super-user mode and using command line scripts if you want to save the OS and create a new user/delete a user. Hold <command> and <s> keys together when you start the computer and you will be launched into a terminal. But if your not familiar with BSD Linux, I don't suggest this route. should you try and get lost, then enter at the prompt "#shutdown -h now" and the computer will shutdown and turn off. Kristen
