I had serious problems when I upgraded from 10.4 to 10.5 on my PB (below), but when I installed Leopard as an archive and install all my previous issues disappeared. As much as I used to promote Tiger and bag on Leopard, once properly installed 10.5 works quite well. And it's been running at 100% 24/7/365 since I got it in '06 (?) and is still quite usable.
