Oh, how embarrassing! I was confused indeed. You are totally right.

Essy to see, however, how it happened. People forget to prefix the 
version number with what it is they're talking about!

Mac OS version blah-blah

  and

Word version blah-blah.

Look at your own message above. I am assuming v.11.6.3 refers to a Word 
version, but...to what does 10.8.5 refer?
