For me the Heidelberg scanners are the top. I use them since my Quadra 800.
For the 3 G4's I still have in use, I have a Heidelberg Linoscan 1450.
You will find these, used oc, on several sites. I just bought a 1450 for one
of my grandsons, using a MDD 1.25 GHz, 10.5.8, for € 125 , complete with
cables and SW-CD's. Living in The Netherlands, I found the scanner on:
<http://www.tweedehandsmac.nl>, the dutch site of:
<http://www.secondhandmac.com>
But the easiest way may be googling for "Heidelberg scanners" and you'll
find "all the offers on internet".
