[G4] New External HD for G4 450? - Suggestions Please

Thank you. I am particularly interested in a fast external HD.

I have been doing some reading and sata and eSata drives are fast &
appear to be mac compatible. I also see there is a PCI card
available, and it will apparently transfer 3 GB/second. I am
unfamiliar with the format (or the difference between the two) but it
sounds like its just the ticket.

Is this possible with a G4? I have a Sonnet 1.53 ghz processor.

Thank you.
