Keeping things simple. Cable select has nothing to do with which
interface you're using. It has everything to do with having a cable
select enabled cable (i.e. the correct wire is snipped at the correct
location) and the drives jumpered to cable select.

I just use the button on the header bar to choose which DVD or CD
device to open and I can toggle between them. It should be just to the
left of your volume control and is shaped like a triangle with a line
under it.<br>
