[G5] Drive Fan Blasting All The Time

Hi all. New to this list. Old to the other lists.

Have Dual 2 GHz G5 refurb original model. 3 GB RAM, 250 GB HD, 8x DVD-RW

Both 1394-400 ports blew out and had to have the motherboard replaced 
last Friday.

Now I have that fan behind the optical Superdrive blowing up a storm 
and it won't quit.

Ran the diagnostic hardware DVD and it came up Drive Fan ERROR Twice.

Had temporary fix last Friday with reseting MoBo button and Open 
Framework resetting.

But woke up to full blast this morning. Have to wait til next week for 
another motherboard and/or cable and/or fan to get it fixed.

Anyone else have this problem and know a fix?
