We're getting a bunch of G5 Dual 2Ghz at work soon (as soon as Apple builds them and then ships them half-way around the world!). I think one of them will broken in at my house for a few days editing a wedding video! ;-) If you're really concerned about a faulty unit (as I am), then I'd suggest writing either an AppleScript, Photoshop action or FileMaker script which would hammer the processor, hard disk and RAM. These little things are really good for checking RAM in particular (I find). The larger the load, the more RAM will be used... and if it's bad it'll soon tell you! Good luck!
