[G5] Page Sender and the 1.6 GHz Power Mac G5

I have a question.

Does the 1.6 GHz desktop G5 have a fax modem?

I have a phone line running into the phone connector on the back of the unit
but for some reason I can not get Page Sender to do anything but give me a
dial tone through the computer speakers.

Any help setting this up would be great.
