[G5] USB fax modem on G5

My new G5 Dual Core came with no built-in fax modem. I realize that  
faxes are oh so last century, but there are still a few folks out  
there who live and die by them.

My first attempt at a USB fax modem is a Best Data 56USBSL.

Naturally there are no Mac drivers, but I have been assured that  
since 10.2 there are drivers built in to OSX.

Any wisdom out there?
