I've a bad feeling that the switch to Intel is going to be rather embarrassing for Mac OS X, things won't be looking good for Apple if Windows XP blows them away on the exact same hardware. Don't take that the wrong way, as I actually am looking forwards to Mac's running on Intel CPU's, I just think it's going to strip the facade that Apple has been hiding rotten performance behind away. As for fundamental system management tasks, you don't want to get me started on NetInfo!
