[G5] startup/shutdown

Hi all !

My G5 bi-proc no longer wants to start up !
I get the gong and the "cog-wheel" turning on the grey screen, so Mac
OS is trying something (10.5.x) ...but nothing further until it
shutsdown about 1 min later .
Tried "zapping the pram", tried resetting the PMU... and still no joy !
Any ideas ?
