I did a quick Google search for "digital photography help" and found this
fabulous resource full of free info:

I've been happily and [mostly] successful "digital" for two years, but will
certainly go back to some of these tutorials for help and information. Looks
like a great starting point for you. One of those things I wish I'd known
about when I was learning.
