[HM] OT - Image tank

Hi,
I would like to buy an image tank, a hard drive onto which I can 
download my photos from my camera, without having to take my PB with 
me... Over here in Switzerland, these thing can get quite expensive, 
around 380/400 euros/$ for a 20GB model.

-Does anybody on this list have a particular brand they would recommend?
-My best friend will be visiting NYC in May and I would like him to 
bring one back. Could anybody point out a good store in Manhattan with 
competitive prices that sell these things?
