I have the same problem with my Canon, and my HP. It rarely matters, but I have a client that sends content in some obscure version of Powerpoint that will only open in PowerPoint 98 viewer. Since I can't print it, I have to flip back and forth constantly, it's maddening. I hate to admit it, but that's what made me give in to my husband's requests to buy a Dell laptop (from his school...cheap). I was willing to deal with a Dell in the house just so I could open these darn Powerpoints... I would be interested in any solutions you may come across.
