I really have no experience with that. > > HTH, > Barry Thanks, Barry (and Alex and Bob K); from researching the articles you suggest, it seems that the serial number of the iMac meets with criteria for the machine _only_ booting in OS X (whilst being able to hold the OS 9 System Folder, etc); and I naively thought that iMac G4s with either 700 or 800 MHz could boot in both OSs.
