fonts...

A simple question (I, who am ignorant, think): just about to throw myself 
into InDesign CS (an OS X app only); never having gotten into OS X before
(still using OS 9.2: all my software is OS 9 and below), can one utilise all
the fonts I have used in PageMaker (say)? Ones available to OS 9 apps? Or
does one have to use new OS X fonts?
