HP Scanjet 4300C

My son gave me an HP Scanjet 4300C, with no power cord and no USB cord. he
did include the software CD, however.

1. I went to the HP web site and can't get a power cord from them. Does
anyone have a solution about getting a substitute power cod that will work?


2. I looked at the software on the CD, but I still can't tell if it can be
used on a Mac and which OS. Does anyone have one of these scanners and can
tell me? If I can't use it, I can pass it on to someone else.
