[HM] Automatic date off by 2 days

I have a refurb G5 that I got in December, so I trust that the battery is
just fine, but...
The date in the upper right corner is correct, but when it does auto insert
as I start typing today¹s date in MS Word, it¹s always 2 days behind.

Any ideas?
