[HM] S-Video in?

The A/V adaptor for iBooks sends the screen image out
via S-Video BUT, does anyone know if it will take
S-video IN from a VHS player and into iMove.

Got a couple of importent old family videos I would
like to import into iMovie and edit before the tape
finaly goes bad.

If not, any suggestions!
