I don't know anything about that CDR drive. But on Friday, Fry's was 
giving away 40x12x48x CDRs for FREE. The point is that you can buy a 
new LiteOn (which is multimedia compliant-Mac and Toast compatible) CDR 
(sold under a variety of brand x type labels) for next to nothing these 
days.
