That was an unacceptable problem for me, since I capture many short clips from many sources, not a whole movie at a time. Also, the flimsiness of the device (wiggly ports, poor engineering) was a big negative for me -- I use multiple analog input decks and have to frequently plug, unplug and rearrange my setup, and I was pretty sure I'd have ripped that thing apart in a few months. On the good side, the picture looked really nice, but I've had 2 years of heavy use on my Sony Digital 8 camera with no problems. Melissa
