If you do record on two tracks, set levels different, one hot, one not (safety). I've heard the MA-300 is fragile plastic. Go to supermarket hair care section and buy a bunch of pony-tail elastic bands, the kind with 2 big plastic marbles. These are a trade secret of Hollywood sound mixers, used to secure cables, provide strain relieve. Tie off mic cables to GL2 carry handle, for instance. Hair ties are noiseless, and can be handled with gloves in cold weather. Danny Grizzle
