I would have to agree with Erica here.
I did a quick google.com search for DVL-9000 and cam up with a bunch 
of windoze users that can't get their computers to recgonize the 
DVL-9000 via their FW cards.  Not to give them too much credit, but 
I'd bet there is FW on this model (even though JVC has omitted FW in 
the past)
