Ti Book output is DVI with an included DVI to VGA adapter. Dr. Bott sells a DVI to ADC adapter for $35. If you look carefully, you can find excellent 19" monitors on sale for less than $150 after rebates. It depends on where you live. Here in California, Fry's Electronics almost always has such a special running. CompUSA also runs such specials from time to time. Costco regularly sells 19" monitors for about $175. They should be able to display at least 1600 x 1200 @ 75 Hz to deliver an image you will enjoy with plenty of desktop space.
