Software Architects are releasing a UDF DVD utility called GreatVIDEO 
or something that claims to do 2 interesting things: 1) allow you to 
create (author) a video file into DVD video format to burn onto a 
DVD, and import and convert MPEG-2 video from DVD camcorders. I 
suppose that would include your Hitachi. Check it out at
