Ah - OK - the 30 day "tryout" version is only 6.0 and does not run on 
OS X at all, so it doesn't seem to be possible to evaluate Premiere 
on OS X.

I'm loathe to put money in Adobe's war chests in the light of their 
recent DMCA activities anyway, so perhaps I'll stick with iMovie or 
upgrade to Final Cut Pro.
