Hi, Greg: This appeared on the Macintosh Video list a few weeks ago, which may partly explain your problem: Subject: [MacDV] QT6 Update http://www.apple.com/quicktime/download/system_req.html In part: Note to DVD Studio Pro and Final Cut Pro Users: DVD Studio Pro users and Final Cut Pro users should not update to QuickTime 6 via download at this time. Final Cut Pro version 3.0.2 and DVD Studio Pro version 1.5.1 are qualified for use with QuickTime 6 included in Mac OS X v10.2. ------------------ Darby Lee Darrow darrowspammagnet at cox.net >Date: Sat, 23 Nov 2002 21:56:57 +1100 Subject: [MacDV] iDVD, CDRW and OS10.2.2 From: Greg P <gregp at pacific.net.au> Message-Id: <48C43297-FED2-11D6-ACBC-003065B93D3E at pacific.net.au> Since upgrading to 10.2.2 I have noticed that iDVD 2 will no longer recognise the QT export files from iMovie. When I drad the movie file into iDVD I get a message saying "your last action is not supported by iDVD". If I try using the import video menu item the file is just ignored and nothing happens. I am also using an external CDRW in a firewire case that will not function under this system. Although apple profiler says that the CDRW is supported, the unit keeps going "eject, eject, eject..." about every second. It is though the firewire is polling the unit every second and this is being interpreted as an eject command. Both of these problems did not exist under OS10.1.5. Has anyone else experienced similar problems since upgrading their OS. Any advice much appreciated. gregp at pacific.net.au<
