[MacDV] HELP! FCP disaster

try looking into extension conflicts
you don't have much time but
do you have external drives 
where is your media saved?
you can save your project outside
of the software per say
so reinstalling isn't a problem
i don't think
just make an extra copy of your project 

is there anything you set up that is different than
when you opened it last?
something you installed or added to the computer or
deleted?
undo what you did

is your firewire cable plugged into your cam?

try turning off your external drives 
and opening it up
