A friend found a package of four markers made specifically for CDs at a 
swap meet. The price for 4 pens was $3. So that's what I will be using 
from now on. I have one of the slot-loading iMacs and more than one 
paper-labeled disk has failed to work in the drive, so I'm afraid of 
them now.
