Duration of .psd files in FCP

Is it a multi-layerd .psd file? If it is, then it imports into FCP as a
sequence. You can tell by looking at it's icon in the browser and seeing if
it has a sequence icon or a clip icon.
Flat .psd you can change duration; multi-layered, you change the length of
the sequence.
