Adobe Premiere 6.5 certification list

Hi,

I have a small question. It pertains to certified Sony DV devices that 
work with Adobe Premiere 6.5 on Mac OS X. There is a list of devices to 
choose from before you commence capturing. Must I use one of these 
devices? Most of these models are not even made anymore. I mean the 
Canon ZR-60 is not on there even Should I go on eBay and get an older 
model like a TRV900 or take my chances with as newer model of Sony.
