[MacDV] Canon ZR40 -- How do you like it?

How is the Canon  more Mac friendly than a Sony?  I bought my Sony 
connected it to my Mac and it was instantly recognized by iMovie and 
iMovie had no trouble controlling all the required functions of the 
camera so I fail to see how it could have been more Mac friendly.
