DVD Studio Pro

I'm running Final Cut Express on my G5 2x2, and using it to edit Type2 DV-avi files that I import from my DCR-TRV25 using ScenalyzerLive on my WinXP system (I can't get it to work with Final Cut Express and don't trust iMovie to do the import).  The Video from my Camcorder has been filmed in widescreen.

Exporting the video and placing it into iDVD I appear to end up with Letterboxed  video.  If I was using "DVD Studio Pro" would I be able to do Widescreen Animorphic video?
