[MacDV] Beeping in FCE Canvas Window

it trimmed down and the constant beeping is getting on my nerves.

zane,
the beeping is usually a sign that the audio is not rendered, either you
have some audio filters or the audio in the clips differs drastically
from the audio settings in your sequence. sequence -> mixdown audio
should solve the problem.
