That is a good question and providing that it is true I guess it is the software, Apple sells computers with real DVD burners and with the exception of Toast not a lot of major Mac software even bothers with the VCD. There are a lot more PC's and a lot less of them have the DVD burners. (opinon) I know I have never made one. I have a DVD burner. I have not felt any need for the VCD format. > > I am sure these questions sound inane, but I am very confused by these > issues and would like to understand them. > > Ann Billups > abillups at earthlink.net > > > ---------- > <http://www.themacintoshguy.com/lists/MacDV.html>. > Send a message to <MacDV-DIGEST at themacintoshguy.com> to switch to the > digest version. > > XRouter | Share your DSL or cable modem between multiple computers! > Dr. Bott | Now $139.99 <http://www.drbott.com/prod/xrouter.html> > > Cyberian | Support this list when you buy at Outpost.com! > Outpost | http://www.themacintoshguy.com/outpost.shtml > > MacResQ Specials: LaCie SCSI CDR From $99!
