You'll need all the files to make the DVD complete.

Try copying the dvd again using Disk Copy's Create image from Device
command, then burn the image using Disk Copy's Burn command. If you have
10.3.x, the equivalent commands can be found in Disk Utility. Or you may
want to try your luck with DVD Imager:

Once you get a copy made that will work right on your computer, I'd
recommend buying a couple of different individual DVD blanks of different
brands to see if any of them work better on your standalone players. All DVD
blanks are not created equal.
