I had not thought of that and I just bought an intevew XLR8  +PCI usb 
card so Now I might not need it also I thought about buying a Hollywood 
Dazzle . but I looked in my book and I can do that I have the 
DCR-TrV103 NTSC.
I know someone said in one of the other post about Digital 8 not that 
great and I had great luke with mine sence it was new ,and I think you 
can buy one now for around $300 on Ebay
