vidcam help

i'm a newbie here and i want your help to select an appropriate digital
video camera for my needs...i plan to use it with a superdrive-equipped
powerbook g4, either a 12- or 14-inch model...i need a small,
lightweight camera that has good zoom and closeup capabilities...i will
use it on hiking trips and other situations where portability is
important...what camera do you recommend?
