I don't think much at all about DVD+R vs. DVD-R because it doesn't 
constrain Apple in any. Apple could switch to DVD+R on a moments 
notice and it wouldn't affect anyone. In fact, there are reports that 
some of the latest iMacs are shipping with the Sony 
DVD+R/+RW/-R/-RW/CD-RW drive right now. Apple turned off the + 
functions, but could probably turn it back on with a firmware update. 
Overall it is a non-issue for Apple.
