Well this is getting off-topic for the list so I'll answer and then 
suggest any follow-ups be in private email.

Why? Because the realaudio programs communicate back to Real everything 
you use them for; require the ability to run background processes 
over which you, the user, have no control and Real is free to use 
the information gathered from you in any way they see fit. Way, way 
too intrusive.
