Not true. It will be seen either way in or out. Works in or out of any 
G3 or G4 Mac with 10.2.3 not just G4s. I'm putting mine in a 500 MHz 
B&W G3 that I plan on upgrading to a dual G4 after they are released 
(being announced at MacWorld Expo SF 2003 next week.)
