Call For Entries 10th Annual Chicago Underground Film Festival

[Chicago Underground Film Festival]

The Chicago Underground Film Festival, The Midwest's premiere showcase for
independent, underground and experimental film and video from around the
world, is now seeking entries for its 10th annual event.

August 27 - Sept 3, at Landmark's Century Centre Cinemas.

Deadline: May 1 2003 (regular); May 15 2003 (Final).

Categories: narrative feature, narrative short, documentary, animation,
experimental. 

Awards: Juried prizes for best feature, best short, best doc,
best animation, best experimental, "Made In Chicago" plus the Audience
Choice Award. 

Formats: 
35mm, 16mm, Beta, MiniDV, 1/2", super 8, other.

Preview on NTSC VHS, PAL VHS, or DVD (all region codes). Entry Fee is $30
for entries postmarked by May 1, $35 $35 for entries postmarked after May 1
and received by May 15. Past festival participants may enter without fee.

CUFF was created to promote films & videos that innovate in form, technique,
or content & to present works that challenge & transcend commercial and
audience expectations. Experimental, avant-garde, visionary, personal...
