Some of them might qualify as upgrades, but all of them won't.

If Apple releases iCal 2 in six months and does nothing else to make 1.01
suck less will it be a "major revisions new version" ?

iPhoto 2 will be an upgrade, no matter what anyone calls it.

We'll see if people are willing to call iDVD 3 an upgrade or new version if
Apple reverses itself and supports external burners.
