iDVD Still Internal Drive Only

I have a G4/400 Sawtooth with internal CD-ROM/DVD player.  I have a 
Pioneer 104 in an external FireWire case.  I don't want to put the 104 
inside the G4 because I also have a B&W G3 that has been upgraded to a 
NewerTech G4/450.  By keeping the 104 external, I can burn CDs and DVDs 
on either computer.  That's why I was hoping iDVD3 would support 
external FireWire burners.
