According to the release notes, Quicktime 6.1 includes performance improvements to encoding and decoding. As I've just started on DV, I don't really have any personal benchmarks to judge by...is Quicktime 6.1 appreciably faster, particularly when encoding DV to MPEG-1 and MPEG-2?
