Re: new FireWire 800 on the 17"PowerBook ----- with a 2 drive configuration of FireWire 800 drives with striped RAID it can achieve 100MB/S speed and that will make DV use totally effortless from a storage speed point of view. But the FireWire 800 drives have not shipped yet. :( -Joel Come to think of it, the 17" PowerBook has not shipped either! :((
