[MacDV] Canon ZR45mc question

Not familiar with that camera. You need to be in VCR mode. There should 
be a set of VCR controls somewhere on the camera where you push the 
record button before you push the play button. If not, you must need 
the remote to run that camera's VCR mode. If so, never let them be 
apart in the future. ; ^ )
